I met Brett back in highschool, (I won’t say how long ago as I don’t want to date myself haha) and it was wonderful to reconnect and meet her family. I had to laugh when I found out we’ve been living only a few blocks away from each other for the past two years. What are the odds?

I had the opportunity to assist Nathan of NDK Photography for a wedding out at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. It’s fun to be the 2nd photographer sometimes 🙂 It gives me a chance to do more of the detail and candid shots. And I had WAY too much fun doing that with this wedding.
Courtney and Jonathan were a great couple and I wish them all the best. He’s originally from England and she’s from Calgary. They met about 5 years ago in Australia. Such a great story to tell the kids, right? Congratulations to you both!
The food was UNREAL. And if you know me, you’ll be shocked to know that I actually ate Bison Carpaccio! hahaha
This was by far my favorite part of the whole 2 days!! No pressure. Just having fun on the beaches of Maui taking photos at sunset! I definitely recommend next day photos – it’s much more fun and relaxed.
We took some photos at the Grand Wailea and then headed off to Makena Beach.
I’m sorry. I’m being lame with the blogging. In all fairness, Christmas came fast and I wanted to spend every second with my family. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all the best in the New Year!
I want to thank you all for such a wonderful year. I’ve had the most amazing clients and sessions, and I can’t wait to see what 2011 will bring.
