Meet my brother Dave, his wife Ashley and their absolutely adorable girls, Summer, Lucy and Rosie. No one would have guessed that Dave would have all girls, but man are they ever cute!! And so spunky too! 😉
We met up at Nosehill Park, which is a first for me and I’m so glad we did! It is beautiful up there. There is such a variety for backdrops and the view is pretty amazing. The girls loved exploring the trees during our session, it was like they were in an enchanted forest.
I’d like you to meet my dear friend, Roberta, and her darling family. Roberta and I have been friends for over 18 years!! We have so many fond memories and continue to make them. She is one of the sweetest, most thoughtful people I know and I’m grateful to have her as my friend. It was an absolute privilege to be able to photograph her and her family. Thanks for the great night you guys!
Check out this beautiful mom’s maternity photos!! Joanna and her hubby are expecting baby number 6. That’s right, SIX! Can you believe it?? Even though she expressed she was somewhat (read extremely) concerned about having maternity photos done, she honestly looked gorgeous!! I photographed the birth of her last baby and she joked she was more comfortable with those than with maternity photos. I hope I helped ease her nervousness, as any photographer would be lucky to photograph her. And that baby bump couldn’t get any cuter!!
I’m lucky to have awesome photographer friends who are willing to let me borrow their outfits and props. Laura Taylor has an amazing stash of stunning maternity gowns and let us borrow a few for the shoot. I love the white lace maternity gown Joanna chose from the few that I gathered. Thank you Laura!! The dress worked PERFECT!
Oh, and if you’re wondering if Joanna’s having a boy or girl, you’ll have to wait a few more weeks – with mom and dad – to find out what the sex is! Until then, take a look at this beautiful mom of soon to be 6!
I recently had a fabulous session with the Van de Walle family. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception either. I love working with them! They are a kind, sweet and thoughtful family, and let’s be honest, such a good looking bunch! Mom had them dressed adorable in navy and yellow, and I love the cream dress with floral crown (that mom made!) for their little girl’s 1st birthday photos.
I love fall, especially for family photos! Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so wonderful to work with. That’s true of my session with the Fairbanks family, too!
I met up with them at Edworthy Park (you know it’s one of my favorite locations!) and the weather was perfect for fall family photos. While the weather was nice, it was this darling family that made this shoot such a treat. The boys were so well behaved and we had a blast throwing rocks in the river. Plus, as an added bonus, their mom had them dressed adorable!! I love the greys and blues she chose. Perfect for such handsome little men.
