Words cannot describe how much I adore this family! Heidi and I have been friends for many years and it is always such a pleasure to be able to photograph her family. We met at a photo group a common friend had started and we hit it off. Heidi is an incredibly talented photographer (you can check out her work here) and I’ve enjoyed learning from her and working alongside her for several years. It’s always a little nerve wracking for me to photograph another photographer, but thankfully everything turned out as planned.

From the outfits and flower crowns to the mountains in the background, this session was simply perfect!! It was definitely worth the hour plus drive to get there 😉 Thanks for a fantastic night Allred family.

I haven’t been to Confederation Park in years, so when this adorable family decided on it as the location for their family photos I was excited! Confederation Park is perfect for a morning session as the light is simply lovely. And aren’t they an adorable family! I love their outfit choices too. Mom had them all dressed perfectly! I have known Mark, the hubby, for as long as I can remember and it’s so fun to see his family grow and to be able to capture these memories for them. Thanks for the fun morning Stehmeier family!

THOMAS – Extended Family Photos

Hi, friends!

I recently had a wonderful extended family session with the Thomas family! It was such a treat for me to be able to photograph such a beautiful family on their family’s land. What’s even more special is this was the first time the whole family has been together in about 3 years! What a blessing to have all their kids and grandkids together. Thanks for the great day!

{BEATRICE} – Family Session

I am excited to share this recent family session with you! I have had the privilege of photographing this darling family for the last 6 years and I love how each family session we have together is beautiful and unique. This particular session with Matt and Shelby is definitely one of the top on my list I’ve done with them! Shelby rented this beautiful, vintage, olive green sofa from Orange Trunk named Beatrice. What a great name for a beautiful sofa! If you’re a sucker for vintage anything like I am, check out Orange Trunk for some amazing pieces they have for rent and while you’re there, take a peek at this session that was featured on their blog!

As soon as I saw Beatrice I knew where she had to go – in the middle of the field at Matt and Shelby’s new acreage. It couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. The olive green of the sofa is one of my most favorite colors and pair it with the French Provincial style and a gorgeous family… PERFECTION!!
