Sweet Baby James, my little nerd!

Well, next week my baby turns 1 year old! I can't believe how fast that year went. He's just a little ball of fire and I can't get enough of him! A couple weeks ago we had an awful snowstorm and were stuck in the house. Figured since we weren't going anywhere I might as well take some pictures of my little munchkin. I just love him! Now to decide which one (or ones) to get on canvas for his room... Any suggestions?

First session of 2013 was a fun engagement shoot. Have to say it made me feel pretty special that they drove all the way up from Lethbridge for me to take their engagement photos. Thanks guys!

Just a little detail about the letters... He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 2 years in Tijuana Mexico. They wrote to each other for the entire 2 years and he'd kept all the letters she'd sent. I thought it was super cute! Congrats you two, I'm so excited for you!

I made it! Last session of 2012! Only took a few months. Sorry about that. Hopefully I can keep this blog more up to date.

This wonderful family braved the -25C weather for family photos. Total troopers! And I have a special bond with their mom as she has been there to deliver all 5 of my babies!! Couldn't have done it without her - she's an incredible midwife!!
