Girls Night Out, something completely different!

A few weeks ago I met up with a few friends for a hair and make up class. It was awesome getting to learn some new techniques! The night was a blast full of delicious food, an obscene amount of makeup, hair and a TON of photos. Laura (Laura Taylor Photography) was generous enough to let us use her studio that night and finished off the night playing around in the studio. Fun fact – between the 5 of us that were at the class there are 19 kids!

Karen, James and crew – Calgary Family Photography

I am so lucky to be able to photograph the most beautiful families, and this family was no exception. I photographed Karen and her family back in the bitter cold of winter last year, and was happy to have much better weather this time around. They were so much fun and Karen the outfits were perfect (Madi, I love your boots!). We had lots of laughs and even beat up on tickled dad a little bit (I think the kids had fun with that one). It was a pleasure once again.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
 

Heidi, Seth and kids – Calgary Family Photography

Heidi had found the most beautiful location out in the Kananaskis. It could not have been more perfect, and the colors went beautifully with the outfits she chose.

I love having photographer friends! (Check out Heidi’s work HERE.)  Heidi and I were able to swap family photos this year and I am in love with mine!

I hope you love yours as much I love mine, Heidi! And I can’t tell you enough how adorable your family is.

It was wonderful spending time with this adorable family. They were so kind and we laughed a lot. I love that their little guy has the same name as my (not so) little guy, Austin!

Ashley – Calgary maternity photography

I love this family, and not just because it’s my brother, sister-in-law and nieces. They’re just the most adorable family. And they are expecting baby GIRL number 3! I cannot wait to meet her. Ashley was hesitant to do photos, and at 38 weeks nonetheless. But after a little convincing I got her out and I’m so happy she agreed. Most perfect baby belly!
