Turning 8 is a pretty big deal when you belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is the age where you are old enough to decide if you want to be baptized a member of the church. Abby made that decision and we had a mini session to capture this special time in her life. Congratulations Abby! 
Doesn’t she look lovely? She didn’t let the bitter cold and wind stop her. Such a beauty.

This sweet little girl just turned 2! This was my 3rd time photographing Lydia and I love seeing her grow and develop her own little personality. And she had plenty of that! At one point, her mom started laughing and said “she’s copying her older sister’s dance routine, sass and all.” She is quite the character and such a darling little girl. 

Oregon

Over spring break we packed up and drove the family for a little vacation to Oregon. Growing up (and let’s be honest, to this day) The Goonies has been one of my favorite movies. I’ve always loved how beautiful Oregon looked and have wanted to visit Astoria for as long as I can remember. Well, I can finally check it off the bucket list! And despite it taking us 2 days to get there it was absolutely worth it!! It was extremely windy, rainy and misty almost the entire time we were there, but I think it just added to the beauty.

Miss Millie – Calgary Birth Photography

I had the privilege of attending the birth of my new little niece. I think she loves me most because she decided to come 3 weeks early, 2 days before I took my little family on vacation! She just knew I needed to be there.
My sister did amazing and had the most beautiful water birth. Millie weighed in at 5 pounds 13 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is just the sweetest little button! Thanks for letting me be a part of such a special time for you Katelyn and Sean. I just love her!
